Australia's best known Kiwi Russell Crowe is taking a somewhat tongue-in-cheek approach to the sale of his most eclectic collection. It contains 227 personal items, from art, movie props and costumes, sports memorabilia, jewellery, watches, guitars, music memorabilia and more, in an auction titled "The Art of Divorce".

Sotheby's Australia scored the exclusive prestigious Hollywood gig and is holding the sale in Sydney on Saturday 7th April, notably the actor's birthday and also wedding anniversary.

All 227 lots can be viewed from 4 to 7 April at the Carriageworks at 245 Wilson Street, Eveleigh, and also online at Sotheby's Australia
